I just got accepted to the Jewish Arts Festival on October 10, 2010!
I have applied for the UnPlaza Art Fair will know soon if accepted. Last year was my first time having a booth there. It
was a lot of fun. This art fair is a very creatve show.

The Artist: Denise Dian Laughlin I am a designer and free-lance artist with a degree in Studio Art/Graphic
Design and have over 20 years of experience. My creativity is expressed in many forms such as fine arts, graphic design, desktop
publishing, fiber art, sewing and a variety of crafts. Fine Arts:
My realistic or
graphic illustrations includes watercolor, acrylics, pen and ink and pencils. I have professionally created numerous projects:
greeting cards, book covers, and a children’s book. This past winter, one of my thread paintings was displayed at the
Kansas City Art Insitution Crossroads Gallery and the KCAI Northland Campus. More of my
work is being schduled at various galleries. Graphic Design:

have done graphic design work for many companies throughout my career. You may have seen flyers I created for The Kansas City
Chapter of The American Sewing Guild in your local sewing and fabric stores. You can contact me with your graphic design needs

I grew up in a family of seamstresses and have always sewn. I enjoy
combining my sewing and quilting skills with my passion of artistic expression through my fiber art designs. I am a licensed
Martha Pullen Beginning Sewing Teacher and a Sulky Thread Certified Teacher. I have created a wall hanging/doll quilt pattern
